What’s Occurred Recently

So what’s happening at the moment and what’s occurred recently.

Let’s start from 2 days ago – Saturday 16th. I will add photos to help show you how well the day went. The sun was shining, the Easter chocolate was in abundance and oh yeah WE raised just over £1020 for Doctors Without Borders ( also known as Medicines Sans Frontier ). This was a team effort and people really still enjoy a Jumble Sale. The day was long and my feet hurt but my heart was full of pride – my friends really did pull off a good event!

£1020 and the money is still trickling in. The raffle tickets are still selling and the draw will be done at the end of the week.

A few Thank you’s.

I want to thank:

For their generous Raffle prize donation of 1 years supply of Yorkshire Tea, as well as boxes full of Easter chocolate, cake, coffee and tea to serve on the day.

For giving us some tasty chocolate treats to sell at the Jumble Sale.
A special thanks to a friend for donating a box full pets treats – enough to create a hamper. Many dog and cat lovers have their heart set on winning this Raffle prize.

To my AFF buddies – thank you for donating the non perishable Italian treats – this created 2 beautiful Raffle prize hampers. This has been by far the most desired prize and raffle sales have been high. A special thanks to Rachel Broady for the idea!

To everyone who helped on the day and in preparation of the day – donating their unusual ornaments.  The money raised would not have happened without your support.

To ALL who came to buy. THANK-YOU from me and MSF.
This money will CHANGE LIVES. It will provide medical care to people who need it the most. They will also know their are people out there WHO CARE.

Me and my partner, Andy Dennis, setting off from San Francisco to cycle across America

So what’s happening at the moment.

Well there’s SOMETHING BIG going to happen.

On 2nd May I will be taking on my next Challenge with my partner Andy Dennis. The Challenge will be to cycle from Amsterdam to Gibraltar. This will take us 3 months – cycling 2000 miles through all of the MSF operational head quarters in Europe. This is why we are doing this: – https://www.msf.org/where-we-work

The Alps

Just to name a few places we will cycle through – Pyrenees and the Alps.

The Pyrenees

I would be love for you to join us on our cycle ride – you can send me comments on my blog posts as I type up my travel.

If you can: Please donate to Medecins Sans Frontieres and show the World that you Care.

Thank you,

Tracey
